About the official score

The official SESG score is precomputed using methodology and data release . Filtering the dashboard does not recompute the official score. Recalculation is available only in the Custom SESG Builder.

Data source

The underlying indicator panel and country metadata are compiled by the Sovereign ESG Data Portal team from the World Bank Sovereign ESG Data Portal. The source workbook covers 214 countries/economies, 195 indicators and the 1960–2025 period, and includes Framework, Metadata and Data sheets. SESG scores, entropy weights, rankings and dashboard visualizations are a derived research product by Olayeni Olaolu Richard (2026), not an official World Bank composite index.
